Jason Reid serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Stagwell Global, where he leads the company’s growth strategy and long-term vision. He is responsible for driving innovation across Stagwell’s portfolio, overseeing new product development, market expansion, and strategic initiatives that shape the company’s future.

With over 20 years of experience in technology and media investment strategy—and a decade as Stagwell’s Chief Investment Officer—Jason brings deep industry insight and executional expertise. In his prior role, he led the firm’s strategic investment agenda, completing more than 50 transactions that contributed over $2 billion in revenue. His leadership played a pivotal role in transforming Stagwell into a scaled, global challenger to traditional holding companies, including spearheading the initial investment and merger with legacy MDC Partners.

Before joining Stagwell, Jason was a Senior Strategy Manager at Microsoft, where he directed investment evaluations and strategic initiatives aligned with secular industry trends. His work informed enterprise-wide priorities and capital allocation across emerging areas.

Earlier in his career, Jason was a senior investment professional at hedge funds in New York and Los Angeles, including SAC Capital and Intrepid Capital, specializing in the technology, media, and telecom sectors with a focus on internet and new media. He began his professional journey in Morgan Stanley’s Mergers & Acquisitions group, where he advised on transactions in the technology sector.

Jason earned his degree in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University, graduating cum laude.
